Our renowned founder late Condavaru Kandaswami Naidu Garu conferred on and entrusted his property to the charity of Pachaiyappa’s Trust directing the Board of Trustees to make use it for the development of the educational institutions. The College is a unit of Pachaiyappa’s Charities grant which provides education to the meritorious and under privileged students.
Since its inception, in 1967, our Condavaru Kandaswami Naidu College for Men always focused and ensured a student centric method as a holistic development. Curriculum and co-curricular aspects played an integral part in functioning of our college and we have also spelt out with strategic plans to enhance the quality of education and continue to improve each year. Once the students are on plank, we greatly value the inputs of students in each and every aspects of college life.
The college has a distinguished reputation in the field of sports. Our sports students have won many accolades at the State and National levels. We have an excellent placement record. All through the years, we have placed nearly 75% of students in various MNC’s and leading software concerns. In addition to that we encourage students to pursue higher studies in renowned Post Graduate (PG) institutions. We also lay emphasis on the various activities which will help the students to improve their skills by training programmes and club activities such as life skill, soft skill programs, Health club, Rotract club and Cultural activities.
National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth Red Cross (YRC), Red Ribbon Club (RRC) and National Cadet Corps (NCC) mainly aims to promote active participation in social services. The units also helps in grooming the student volunteers into vibrant disciplined citizens by inculcating leadership, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service to the society. We have a great privilege in giving an overall view about the activities done by both NSS and NCC units such as awareness program, tree plantation, Health and hygiene, blood donation camp, yoga and meditation camp, Road Safety and actively participating in rescue work.
As an initiating steps we signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) to be mentor for our college in guiding to get National Assessment and Accreditation by speeding up the process of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). As a sign of the progress and to enhance the quality of our work, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahindra Pride School a leading educational trust in connection with the placement. For the social welfare activities we have joined our hands with News7 Tamil media partner Anbupalam.
Currently work is in progress for getting institutional level accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). On par with this we have framed the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) team to enhance the redeeming features of the accreditation process.
We trust that holistic development of the students requires an active participation of the parents too. In order to enable it, the institution has constant touch with parents informing them about the performance of their wards through Parents Teachers Meeting (PTM) and regular messages.
We are never complacent and we are constantly looking for the ways to improve, in order to serve our student community with the very best education to offer.
