DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

The Department of  Mathematics  was established in the year 1982 offering Mathematics as Major and allied subject to the students of Physics, Chemistry and Commerce  . The Department makes great efforts to excel in both academic and extra –curricular activities. The Department inculcates students in more interaction programmes to develop their practical knowledge and skill in Mathematics.

The Department strives to create its reputation by offering the students quality education, empowering them with bright knowledge in Mathematics ,encouraging them to pursue higher education.

To achieve high standards of excellence in generating and propagating knowledge in Mathematics.

To provide an environment where students learn ,become competent users of Mathematics and understand the use of Mathematics in other disciplines and inculcating to excel in Competitive Examinations.

Attract and prepare mathematically talented college students to become mathematics teachers.

To apply Mathematical and computational skills in real life.
